Job Description
The Infant Teacher is responsible for the overall instruction and care for the children in her/his class to help them achieve their utmost potential. She will focus on facilitating the development of children’s skills, character and their love for learning. to follow the educational philosophy and the curriculum outlined by STEAMulation Hub as well as, its policy and systems. She is accountable for ensuring that the personal care, hygiene, learning & development activities, specialized programs, and the positive discipline of the children are all implemented according to our high standards and maintaining our reputation for excellence. she will design and provide a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children have the opportunity to develop their cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and self-help skills. She must maintain an ongoing link of communication, verbal & written, with all parents of children in her class making sure to inform them of the progress of their child(ren) and to handle any of their concerns related to the children’s educational and developmental needs. she is required to work in collaboration with her classroom’s teaching team to achieve her objectives. She may need to train, coach and supervise the classroom’s Assistant Teacher or nanny(ies).

- Punctuality & reliability in attendance is a priority, with the flexibility to work extra hours, occasional evenings, or weekends to meet the needs of the overall program.
- Able to physically and mentally react promptly to unexpected circumstances and emergencies.
- Able to interact and communicate with children on the playground/classroom, i.e. run, jump, dance, demonstrate physical exercises.
- Ability to research latest developments in the early childhood development theories, programs, techniques and practices, internationally and locally, to upgrade own knowledge and skills
