Job Description

 

  • We are looking for a well-spoken sales/ telesales representative to be responsible for soliciting sales over the telephone.
  • The sales/ telesales representative's responsibilities include contacting potential customers, focusing on customer needs to close sales, and documenting customer information, deals, and reactions.
  • Also include recommending improvements to current sales strategies, informing potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports. You should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Initiating sales with potential customers over the phone.
  • Asking questions to engage customers and keep the conversation going.
  • Listening to the customers' needs to generate repeat sales.
  • Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, registration, deals, and reactions to services and courses.
  • Keeping up to date on all services and informing customers of new services.
  • Answering customers' questions on the services.
  • Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Answering customers' questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
  • Analyzing competitors' services to determine services features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.
  • Determine the most effective solutions to increase company sales.

Job Requirements

  • Females only
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Creative thinking skills.
  • The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation.
  • Good sales ability.
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • A successful sales/ telesales representative has excellent communication skills as well as sales ability. You should be meticulous in keeping records, and able to handle all aspects of making a sale.
  • To be successful as a sales/ telesales, you should be persuasive and knowledgeable of industry regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding sales/ telesales should have a strong work ethic and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills at all times.
