Job Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the automotive spare parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely availability of parts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize spare parts procurement, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of spare parts staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the best terms for quality and pricing.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and turnover rates to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with service, logistics, and sales departments to ensure seamless parts availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and enforce compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs while maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to track parts movement and generate accurate reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive spare parts management .
  • Proven track record in leading and managing teams within the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of spare parts supply chain, inventory control, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in budget management and cost control.
