Job Description
Purpose of the job:
- The purpose of this job is to handle electrical problems or electrical engineering issues at a building, worksite, or other locations.
Job Duties:
- Evaluate electrical systems, products, components and apply knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing methods and materials.
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Responsible for contributing to team effort by accomplishing defined results as required.
- Responsible for reading and designing specifications in addition to shop drawings.
- Prepare product documentation, formulate reports and provide presentations.
- Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electric components and equipment.
- Inspect electrical equipment and systems to ensure that they meet Health and Safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Monitor the subcontractor during installation activities to ensure compliance with the agreed installation procedure.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction field.
- Available to start immediately.
- Flexibility to travel to different sites is a must.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality and safety awareness standards.
