Job Description
- Developing and implementing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media channels, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement and promoting social media campaigns.
- Developing and designing a high volume of informative and attractive daily social media posts with creative layouts to publish and share them on social media channels to encourage followers and open up business opportunities.
- Building long term customer relations by attracting them with a fine-tuned content selection.
- Monitoring and updating the corporate pages within each social media channel to ensure the highest possible reputation of the company’s content
- Collaborating with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions and increase number of reaches.
- Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Communicating with social media followers and responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Creating, designing and editing company’s website contents.
- Building a professional customer database with up-to-date information in order to communicate and build relationships.
- Following-up incoming / outgoing correspondences and distributing them accordingly.
- Performing other appropriate duties as prescribed.
Job Requirements
Education
- BSc degree in mass communication, marketing or related fields.
Experience
- 2 years of experience as social media specialist or similar position.
- Graphic designing experience.
- Experience in identifying target audiences and planning digital campaigns.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Oil and gas field experience is preferable.
Technical Qualifications
- MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
- Adobe applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, …)
- Wix Website Editor or similar website application.
- Photos and videos editing skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent reading, writing and speaking skills (both Arabic and English), with good experience in content writing.
