Job Description
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Design Review and System Coordination:
- Review and assess low current systems' designs, including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and public address systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of low current system installations according to project specifications.
Installation and Testing:
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of all low current systems on-site to ensure proper functioning and integration.
- Conduct inspections of installations, verifying compliance with design plans, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Project Execution and Planning:
- Collaborate with the project scheduling engineer to ensure low current systems are implemented within the defined timeline and meet project milestones.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all installations are completed according to the project schedule.
Technical Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to low current systems during the construction phase.
- Provide on-site technical support to ensure the proper functioning of all low current systems.
System Integration and Compliance:
- Ensure that all low current systems are integrated seamlessly with other building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practices for low current systems.
Quality Assurance and Reporting:
- Monitor the quality of installed low current systems, conducting regular inspections and testing for quality assurance.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for the project team and senior management, detailing the status of low current system installations.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. (cumulative grade must not be less than Good).
- 4 - 7 years of experience in electrical site supervision for large-scale construction projects with a focus on medical mega projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction drawings, standards, and electrical codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
