Job Description
- Responding to customer's inquiries and provide them with clear export information by acting as a liaison between the customer and other departments (forwarding, transportation and customs).
- Soliciting ocean and air rates from the shipping lines and carriers for export shipments, and sending offers accordingly to Royal's customers.
- Booking with the shipping line through their website or with overseas shipping agents.
- Coordinating with transportation teams in order to provide customers with the required services.
- Preparing all required clearance documents in line with applicable laws and regulations and in coordination with customs teams.
- Coordinating with the finance team for the accurate and timely issuance of billing and invoices to customers and following up on payments.
- Supporting the Sales teams in performing indoor and outdoor sales activities.
- Acting as a backup to forwarding personnel.
- Contacting customers on a regular basis and providing them with updates on the shipment status and resolving issues, when needed.
- Updating all export related activities accurately on all relevant information systems and in a timely manner.
- Preparing regular reports covering forwarding, clearance and transportation details of export activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree of supply chain, logistics or any related field
- 2-3 years of experience in the same role. (Export and Customer Clearance)
- Good command of English language and excellent business writing skills
- Residence of Misr Elgedida or nearby area are extremely preferred
- Supply chain certificate will be highly preferred
