Job Description
We are seeking a qualified candidate to join the team.
The target profile should design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems. The engineer will identify and fix issues and work collaboratively with the team to monitor and analyze the stability and efficiency of the system.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain software codes based on defined component requirements and component design
- Configure the different software components according to the specified requirements
- Create Product Support Documentation
- Deliver and integrate the software component in the overall software according to the defined high-level design
- Develop component test plans and test cases to verify the correct functionality against the requirements
- Verify the software component functionalities in a defined HW target/platform
- Verify the software component performance indicators
- Execute static analysis tools and analyze the results
- Follow the defined project processes and ensure process conformance
- Report work progresses continuously through attendance of daily & weekly project internal meetings.
- Contribute effectively to the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible.
- Raise flags proactively for any issue impacting his/her project or team.
- Analyze executed test plans, and confirm that the software behavior respects the required documents
Job Requirements
- Deep experience with both hardware and software
- BSc/MS in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
- Must have +3 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Embedded Software development and advanced programming experience in C, C++, and Python programming language
- Solid Experience in using Raspberry Pi & PCB boards Plus Object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Strong understanding of digital circuit design and theories
- Experience in different IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
- Must be able to read schematics and understand PCB layout diagrams
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Plus time management skills
- Experience in the Automation Software development aspects
- Research and enable innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting at the component level is a plus
- Must have strong knowledge of digital systems including at a high level how microprocessors, power conversion, control circuits, and high-speed data/clock lines operate
- Familiar with Linux operating system and Wireless connectivity, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth low energy (BLE)
