Job Description:
Impression Analytics is seeking a motivated developer who enjoys building WordPress websites, with a focus on eCommerce in addition to developing plug-ins. We are seeking a self-motivated person who can meet deadlines and deliver fully functioning websites/plug-ins and/or apps. Will be working with a project manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requirement analysis
- Design and development
- Unit testing and deployment
- Clean and efficient code
- Must provide extensive internal documentation and/or creating white-pages/help documentation for websites/plug-ins and apps developed.

General Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
- Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience with PHP and WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of web fundamentals HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Bootstrap.
- Extensive experience in creating and using WordPress & WooCommerce plugins.
- Extensive experience building interfaces utilizing JavaScript with legacy or modern libraries like React.
- Knowledge and or experience working with API’s.
- Demonstrable skills with a strong portfolio is a must.
- Strong file management, organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbally and in writing). All communication will take place in English.
- Time management skills/ work under pressure to meet tight deadlines is a must.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the business to help make decisions relevant to website and eCommerce site and strategy.
- Takes responsibility and ownership for their tasks
- Highly detail oriented and understands deadlines
- Works well independently and with a team
- Can take an idea and run with it
- Works hard, likes to have fun and has a great attitude to bring to our team
Technical Requirements:
- Previous WordPress, WooCommerce and plug-in development experience is a must
- 5+ years of experience with WordPress theme and plugin development and customization
- 5+ years of writing and troubleshooting PHP and JavaScript
- 5+ years of proven proficiency in Front-end development required (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery etc.)
- Strong Back-end development experience required (PHP, MySQL, etc.)
- Strong experience with E-commerce (Woo-commerce preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Web Technology: PHP, AJAX, and RESTful APIs
- Strong ability to focus on end-user experience
