Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who would lead our engineering team. He/she will complete design and detailing services for technical equipments, support fabrication, and conduct testing for product specifications and quality standards. The mechanical engineer required will have the opportunity to expand his/her knowledge with the continuous exposure to proprietary applications in industry 4.0 technologies, 3D-printer, Mold design, CNC, as well as learning new software and design innovative products.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company policies, technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and security of data, reports and access.
• Support manufacturing on fabrication, assembly, and commissioning of technical equipment.
• Analyze business needs and technical requirements, design and build the solution.
• Review design layouts, perform well-prepared project documentation and ensure consistent construction and testing on stated timelines.
• Create detailed drawings using 2-D and 3-D drawings and models.
• Maintain design and detail drawing files and records.
• Quality control checks for individual parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies.
• Calculate production and material costs, review schedules and estimate future requirements.
• Support the assembly and tuning of cyclotrons.
• Create assembly procedures and commission documents, and test fixtures to incorporate into training programs.
• Improve manufacturing processes and methods for quality and efficiency. In parallel, reduce overall manufacturing build time and costs as well.
• Ensuring foolproof performance of the deliverables and submit them in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with local and geographically disbursed management for input, support, and development.
• Keep informed of new professional methodologies and developments that affect the industry and recommend new practices or changes in programs or applications.
• Communicate project progress with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinating with co-developers and other related departments.
• Leading and maintaining regular project status updates adhering to agreed timelines. In addition, present technical data to audiences with non-technical backgrounds.
• Capable of optimizing the production chain processes related to mechanical parts, such as: negotiating with suppliers, logistics service providers, customers, and other chain partners about the purchase of raw materials, packaging materials, auxiliary materials, transport, manufacturing …etc.
