Job Description
- Collect and deliver financial documents, cheques, and cash deposits between company offices and banking institutions in a timely and secure manner.
- Ensure all banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and document submissions, are accurately completed and documented.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive financial materials and information handled during transit.
- Obtain necessary signatures and confirmations for all delivered and received documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to schedule and prioritize banking errands according to operational needs.
- Maintain a daily log of all banking activities, including time, date, and nature of transactions.
- Report any discrepancies, delays, or issues encountered during banking errands to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with additional office support tasks as required, such as document filing or administrative errands.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding the handling and transportation of financial materials.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with banking staff to facilitate smooth transactions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar messenger, courier, or office runner role.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and trustworthiness when handling confidential materials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure prompt deliveries.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
- Good communication skills for interacting with internal staff and external banking personnel.
- Familiarity with basic banking procedures and document handling protocols.
