Job Description
- Prepare and review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for projects.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated project execution.
- Perform technical calculations related to HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs for mechanical works.
- Review and approve shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Provide technical support to the construction team during project execution.
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of technical documents.
- Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the technical office of a construction or engineering.
- 3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- 4. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- 5. Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.
- 6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- 7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- 8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
