Job Description
As an Instructor in the Ignited STEAM Competition, you will guide teams of students (ages 12–16) through a structured hybrid learning program combining hands-on sessions, online training, and project development. You will mentor participants in building innovative solutions (robots, mobile apps, or websites) aligned with the competition’s themes (Agriculture, Water, Education).
Your role is not just technical delivery you are also a coach and motivator, helping students develop 21st-century skills, entrepreneurship, and teamwork while ensuring projects meet competition standards.
Education:
Undergrade student (3rd or 4th year) or graduate from Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge in at least one track:
- Robotics: Arduino, sensors (IR, ultrasonic, temperature), motors, Tinkercad.
- Mobile App Development: MIT App Inventor, APIs, UI/UX basics.
- Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, Git basics.
Familiarity with coding logic, debugging, and prototyping.
Comfortable using online collaboration tools and LMS platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities in basic English.
- Passion for youth education and STEAM learning.
- Ability to motivate and manage teams of students.
- Creativity, patience, and adaptability in problem-solving.
Other Requirements:
Must submit: National ID, Criminal Clearance Certificate, and University degree/student verification.
Willingness to undergo Engineeius Instructor Certification Program (online training, physical practice, demo teaching, supervised first month).
