Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s bulk sales operations across construction and fertilizer commodities.
- Develop and execute export strategies for clinker, gypsum, cement, urea, phosphates, and related materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Egyptian producers and African/GCC importers.
- Negotiate supply contracts, freight, and payment terms to maximize gross profit and cash flow.
- Manage end-to-end trade execution—pricing, contracts, shipping, documentation, and collections.
- Monitor global market trends, freight rates, and currency risks to optimize margins.
- Build a small, high-performance team and establish efficient sales, logistics, and reporting systems.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in cement, clinker, or fertilizer trading/export (Egypt or MENA region).
- Strong commercial relationships with manufacturers, shipping lines, and importers.
- Proven record of handling bulk shipments (vessels or containers) and achieving high GP per ton.
- Deep understanding of export documentation, LCs, logistics, and inspection procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
