Job Description
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on construction sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure mechanical works align with project specifications and timelines.
- Supervise and guide site technicians and subcontractors to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to mechanical installations promptly.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input to optimize construction processes.
- Support the procurement and management of mechanical materials and equipment on-site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in site-based mechanical engineering roles within the construction industry is A Must
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements.
