Job Description

Will be responsible for managing product content production and syndication to support eCommerce strategies and initiatives that maximize product exposure, as well as drive conversion and sales on retailer sites. Responsibilities include: managing internal and external resources, managing the PIM, supporting SKU setup, managing and maintaining product content on retailer publishing systems and reporting.

  • Manage content syndication to all Merchant partners
  • Manage a team of internal and external resources for content syndication
  • Manage a large volume of product information with a high level of attention to detail and quality control
  • Own and manage the Product Information Management (PIM) system for content syndication
  • Oversee content production through to publishing as required
  • Manage large volumes of data, content and product attributes in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, and accuracy. Manage regular reporting of datasets as required
  • Maintain content hygiene across all Retailer sites to ensure top-notch quality control
  • Manage and maintain all retailer product content management/product submission platforms and spreadsheet formats (ex. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, Amazon, etc. including system upgrades and new user training as needed)
  • Manage the retailer category attributes to support online product listings.
  • Maintain eCommerce content platforms for content publishing including, but not limited to: Amazon Vendor Central, Syndigo, Supplier Center, Sellpoints, IDM, Scene7, etc.
  • Maintain a core understanding of SKU each, case, pallet and display unit configurations
  • Manage analytics/content integrity platform and provide reporting as needed
  • Manage internal ticketing system to track and assign tasks related to content syndication
  • Manage enhanced content publishing as required
  • Support internal and external Merchants specific requests for product content collections 
  • Manage additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 - 7 years of demonstrated success in project and data management
  • Specific experience in eRetailer/Omni retailers preferred (Amazon 1P & 3P, Lowe’s, Walmart 1P & 3P, etc.)
  • Proven experience managing assets and data and working within PIM systems
  • Experience managing image assets to support retailer requirements and solid understanding of digital files, for example: image modes (RGB vs. CMYK), image resolutions, pixel ratios, 360 spins, file formats (JPG, PNG, TIF), etc.
  • Must be results-focused: proven at prioritizing work, setting and meeting deadlines, ownership in deliverables, persistence in accomplishing goals for self and others at highest standards
  • Ability to manage internal and external resources to successfully meet project objectives and deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets is required
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage
  • History of driving business performance through measurement
  • Tech savviness with an initiative to learn new software systems quickly
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be comfortable working in a highly-matrixed environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities at once
  • A keen view of the rapidly changing eCommerce content marketing environment including trends, systems, competition and understanding of both consumer and customer behaviors
  • Analytical and statistical skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience with Resize sense is a plus
  • Experience with data analytics platforms (Edge, Profitero, etc.).
