Job Description

  • Maintain regular follow up with GPC on pending payments.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Kuwait Energy on Invoices for GPC.
  • Upload revenue invoices in the GPC Portal
  • Follow up and liase with Tax consultants as and when required on monthly/quarterly/annual returns and tax assessments.
  • Follow up and liase with Tax Authorities as and when required 
  • Follow up and coordinate with Banks as and when required mainly follow up on bank transfer requests etc.
  • Liase with Statutory Auditors as and when required.
  • Liase and coordinate with any PG appointed consultants.
  • Receive all letters and correspondences sent to PG Office and forwarding the same to the relevant parties. 
  • Provide PG with market intelligence on oil and gas sector especially scanning for potential business opportunities for PG.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures for Egypt office.
  • Maintain up to date files relating to tax and audit.
  • Execute any other duties which may be assigned by PG.

Job Requirements

  • Should be a graduate either finance/business or Petroleum Engineer/Geo Scientist or Legal (BA Finance & Accounts /BBA/MBA/LLB/Bsc Engineering/Geo Science) with good understanding of the Egypt’s commercial, legal and government tax regulations and general business processes in oil and gas sector. 
  • Must possess a minimum experience (8-10 years) within age group 35-40.
  • Should have good exposure to upstream oil and gas industry in Egypt.
  • Candidate should be an Egyptian national who is bilingual and well versed in formal business communication in both English/Arabic.
  • Must have a general understanding of Upstream Oil and Gas Business and Operations
  • Must have a good understanding of Egypt Corporate Tax & Legal Regulations
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must possess strong communication Skills both speaking and writing both in English and Arabic.
  • Must have good Interpersonal Skills & Public Relation skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance with 
  • Excellent relationship management and credibility building skills.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with high ethical standards. 
  • Smart and presentable with good interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter who can work with minimum supervision
