About the Role
- We're an EdTech company on a mission to build world-class educational platforms from the ground up. We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer who doesn't just write code — you take ownership, ship fast, and care deeply about the quality of what you put out into the world. You'll work directly alongside the CTO to architect, build, deploy, and maintain our platforms end to end. This isn't a "ticket-taker" role. This is for someone who thrives when given real responsibility and runs with it.
What You'll Do
- You'll be hands-on across the entire stack — from designing database schemas and building robust APIs to crafting clean, responsive frontend experiences. Specifically, you'll architect and build backend services using Node.js and/or Django, develop dynamic and intuitive user interfaces with React, collaborate closely with the CTO on system design decisions and technical direction, own the full deployment pipeline — CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, handle database design, optimization, and data modeling, maintain and improve existing systems while shipping new features, write clean, well-tested, and documented code, and troubleshoot production issues and ensure platform reliability.

Job Requirements
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a full stack developer.
- Strong proficiency in React on the frontend.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js and/or Django.
- Comfortable with databases — both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tooling.
- A strong eye for detail — you notice when something is off and you fix it.
- Self-driven with a bias toward action — you don't wait to be told what to do. Ability to balance speed with quality — you ship fast without cutting corners.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively in a remote, async environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in EdTech or building learning/content platforms. Familiarity with real-time features such as WebSockets or live collaboration.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices. Previous experience working in a small, fast-moving team.
