Job Description
- Lead the sales team to maximize company sales and profitability, through creative selling strategies, outstanding customer service, product knowledge, teamwork, and by personal example; meet and exceed personal and group sales targets
- Lead in the creation of a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and a friendly retail environment; build positive working relationships within the shop team, Consumer business, and with Flagship counterparts
- Convey an enthusiasm and passion for the philosophy and values of Herman Miller, our products, and our history
- Develop product knowledge to provide top-notch customer experience; become expert on Almsrya Furniture products and innovations, through regular trainings and self-guided study
- Partner with the GM on staff scheduling, budgeting, and planning of events, trainings, and sales initiatives
- Support recruitment and hiring of sales associates, with GM and senior leadership
- Work with the GM to resolve all human resource issues in a timely manner
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years sales management experience required, preferably for a design-led brand
- Demonstrated passion for design and other creative pursuits
- Track record of leadership success and knowledge of the retail industry
- Must be an assertive, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent Almsrya Furniture in a professional manner to a diverse group of customers
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong emphasis on listening; demonstrated people management skills, and ability to work/contribute in a team environment
- Keen attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate high personal performance standards, the desire and ability to continuously learn, and must be results-oriented
- Having a car is a plus
