Product Manager

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Software Product Manager to join our team!

As the driving force behind software deployment projects, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire project lifecycle, collaborating with a talented team, and ensuring successful outcomes. Responsibilities:

1. Provide oversight over all aspects of software deployment projects throughout the project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
2. Coordinate the activities of the project team, understanding system scope, project objectives, and each team member's role and function.
3. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables with customers, including project tasks, schedule, resource requirements, dependencies, and critical path items.
4. Assist in coordinating and scheduling resources, identifying key project team members, and defining roles and responsibilities to create a project organization structure.
5. Measure project performance, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
6. Implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate project risks and minimize their impact.
7. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring accurate project plans and customer acceptance.
8. Ensure proper status reporting is shared across the project team, including time, budget, and risk items.
9. Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including Project Initiation Documents, GANTT Charts, and RAID logs.
10. Work strategically with Sales to execute software sales initiatives and drive additional service and product revenue with existing customers.
11. Effectively communicate project expectations to customers, project team members, and management, proactively managing changes and driving projects to successful conclusions within agreed timescales.
