Job Description
Lead Software Developer will be responsible for developing web-based applications including the e commerce platforms, leading and guiding software teams. This position is also responsible to ensure the quality of software development by employing industry standards. Prioritizing the software change management and version control.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Steering the software development for web-based applications especially eCommerce platforms
- Ensuring the delivery of software as per the agreed project schedule
- Guiding and mentoring the software development and quality assurance team members
- Deployment of final release at staging and production environment
- Managing version control through source code repositories
- Reviewing the work of peers and other team members
- Ensuring software quality assurance and security as per the industry practice
- Coordinating between the customer and development team to ensure the delivery as per agreed requirements

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or any similar discipline
- Good communication skills with good command of the English language
- Ability to multi-task, time management, and stress management
- 4+ years of proven track experience in Software Development, preferably in eCommerce applications
- Must be proficient with the following skills- PHP/Codeigniter, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS/SCSS, MySQL, & Laravel Platform
- Ability to work independently and guide the development and software testing team
- Experienced in architecting the scalable web applications for large consumers
- Must be well versed with the application security standards
- Must have practiced various software development life cycles and models
- Experience in integrating 3rd party, open-source applications, and payment gateways
