Front End Tech Lead

As Frontend Lead, you should be proficient in JavaScript technologies like React, Redux, Node and ExpressJS. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components using React and Redux. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You need to do code review for other front-end developers, define front end guidelines & best practices for front end track and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the application.

Responsibilities

• Developing application using React, Redux/Mobx and writing unit test cases using Jest, Enzyme and Cypress.


• Mentors team , architects front end applications as well as provides guidance on Experience technologies and delivery best practices.


• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code on front end tech stack.


• Building platform reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.


• Define front end guidelines & best practices for front end track in the team.


• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web capable devices and browsers


• Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.


• Code reviews of other front end developers in team.


• Coordinate with Business Analyst, Product owners and the rest of the dev team working on different layers of the application.

Qualifications

• Overall experience of min. 7 years of as Frontend developer with 4+ experience working with ReactJS.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.


• Experience with a State-management framework like Redux (with middle-wares) or MobX.


• Hands-on experience working with Object Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), JavaScript libraries and their practical uses in building complex interactive experiences.


• Hands-on experience working with TDD in JS with the help of frameworks like Jasmine, Mocha, Karma etc.


• Excellent knowledge of hand-coded HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.


• Experience using fluid grids, and building responsive/adaptive websites using Bootstrap etc.


• Hands-on experience working with NodeJS along with setting up frontend build systems and automating the same using Webpack/Grunt / Gulp.


• Should have experience on Agile development methodology  


• Understanding of SEO and accessibility issues and how they relate to development.


• Familiarity with MV* frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone.js, or similar) and knowledge of common JavaScript design patterns.
