Job Description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand the client base within the events management sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to secure new business and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including event planners and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of client projects.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and business development metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Contribute to the development and execution of business development strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities relevant to events management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the events, hospitality, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
