Job Description

For one of our clients B2B Commercial industry in Nasr City

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in the same Position.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
