Job Purpose:
Bespoke artists will work and collaborate with marketing professionals to determine the project needs, produce rough draughts of the concept, and put this forward for approval. Artists use a variety of materials and techniques to create original works of art for sale and exhibition. Create objects that are designed to be functional. Create pieces of art more for aesthetics than for function.
Job Description:
- Develop creative ideas or new methods for making art.
- Create sketches, templates, or models to guide their work.
- Select which materials to use on the basis of color, texture, strength, and other criteria.
- Shape materials for a final product.
- Use visual techniques, such as composition, color, space, and perspective, to produce desired artistic effects.
- Develop portfolios highlighting their artistic styles and abilities to make the company’s showroom unique with their art.
- Apply their work in sites.
Job Requirements
- BA & Proven skills with a Portfolio.
- 2D graphical and 3D product design skills and an appreciation of color and materials.
- Understand technical and packaging issues and concepts.
- Creativity and presentation skills are required using both traditional sketching skills as well as digital techniques (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator).
- High level of negotiating skills and awareness of differing international cultures is helpful.
- Confidence and experience in dealing with colleagues at all levels from Board level down and extremely demanding customers is expected.
