We have a vacancy at our Cairo office for a Market Research Team Leader.

This role is a core function that essentially is tasked for the leadership and management of a small team of Market Research Analysts to ensure the smooth operation of tasks and projects within the company. 

It is a dynamic role that encompasses leadership, research, project management and administrational tasks. It requires a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking with strong follow-up, time management and management.

Previous experience of managing a team is a must with a good sense of business. Full training will be given.

  • Managing a small team of approximately 5-10 team members.
  • Carrying out requests alone competently where necessary.
  • Providing training and advice on how to carry out tasks more efficiently to team members.
  • Smooth coordination of projects.
  • Ensuring project quality, standards and full completion of areas of tasks in a timely fashion and identifying problematic issues early before due dates.
  • Ensuring internal reporting software’s are updated and being updated with the correct information.
  • Ensuring quality of standards and coaching team members on how to drive better results.
  • Coordination and management of training and induction to newcomers.
  • Carrying out spot checks where necessary and completing tasks not covered by members of the team where necessary.
  • Checking and verifying information provided by team members.
  • Ensuring team members are performing well and complying with internal policies and procedures.
  • Conducting team meetings regularly (daily/weekly/monthly) to ensure the smooth
    operation, expectations and execution of tasks.
  • Reviewing and encouraging the performance of team members and taking necessary disciplinary action where necessary with the feedback and approval of the line manager.
  • Ensuring the team are fully aware of how to carry out tasks competently and providing further
    training/coaching when needed.
  • Setting project plans and the assignment of tasks based on task requirements.
  • Ensuring call quality, processes, procedures and standards are being met by the team members.
  • Being a mentor and role model to members of the team by showing professionalism and a high level of work competency.
  • Ensuring team members conduct a professional and positive attitude towards the work and within the company.
  • Carrying out clear and concise reporting.
  • Translation of documents and transcriptions (when needed).
  • Providing and implementing solutions to problems.

Job Requirements

  • Very Good English language is a must.
  • Very Good Computer Skills is a must.
  • Bachelor's Degree is a must.
  • Proven Management experience is a must.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Strong project planning and time management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be, process-orientated with strong character and able to not only encourage team but also implement rules fairly.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal in English and Arabic languages.
  • Excellent grasp of Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Excellent and professional telephone interviewing and handling.
  • Excellent reporting and analysis skills with spreadsheets.
  • Able to drive high levels of quality and performance (KPI’s and targets).
  • Have a positive attitude towards work, no job should be too big or too small.
  • Instilling and encouraging positivity in the work environment.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
  • Preferably aged between 35-45 years.

Working Conditions

  • Fixed working hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm, (Friday and Saturday off).
