Job Description
We are looking for a junior IT admin to join our team and help us maintain and improve our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and clients, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring the security and performance of our systems.
Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to our staff and clients via phone, email, or remote access.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, servers, networks, printers, and other devices.
Install, update, and maintain hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and security tools.
Monitor and optimize the performance and capacity of our systems and networks.
Backup and restore data and settings as needed.
Document and report IT incidents, problems, and solutions
Assist senior IT staff with projects and tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or similar degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification
1-2 years of experience working as an IT admin or a similar role
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of networking protocols, devices, and tools
Knowledge of IT security best practices and tools
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly
Fluent in English
