Job Description
- Lead Mechanical design from concept to detailed construction drawings.
- Design HVAC, Firefighting and Plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects.
- Ensure designs comply with Egyptian building codes, zoning laws, and local regulations.
- Prepare and written Mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in compliance with Egyptian measurement standards
- Conduct cost estimation and value engineering to align design with budget constraints.
- Have the ability to independently complete the design of HVAC, fire protection systems and water supply and drainage systems for general public buildings.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related majors.
- 3 to 5 years of design or SHOPDRAWING experience in HVAC, building water supply and drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Proficient in use AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Perform load calculations (heating/cooling) using software like HAP, or similar tools.
- Perform Hydraulic Calculations using Fire Elite software, or similar tools.
- Love design work, have a strong sense of responsibility, down-to-earth, professional.
- Good team spirit, excellent communication skills, rigorous, meticulous and serious work.
- Good command of English; good listening, speaking, reading and writing.
