Job Description
Due to additional student enrolment and school expansion for the Academic year 2021/2022 The internationals Schools of GEMS Egypt is looking for outstanding Teachers who are excited to join its team.
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.
- Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social).
- Assist with the movement of children in and around the school.
- Provide support for learning activities by supporting the delivery of learning activities
- Support in organizing effective learning environments and maintaining appropriate records.
- Support literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom.
- Support the maintenance of pupil safety and security.
- Contribute to the management of pupil behavior by - promoting school policies.
- Provide clerical/admin support, e.g. photocopying, administer coursework.
- Support the use of information and communication technology in the classroom.
- Deliver learning activities to pupils within agreed system of supervision, adjusting activities according to pupil responses/needs.
- Use ICT effectively to support learning activities and develop pupils’ competence and in-dependence in its use.
- All LSA's are expected to take their share of supervisory duties on the playground.
Job Requirements
- Good level of general education especially in Mathematics and English.
- Good communicator with an excellent command of English.
- Experience in an international curriculum school.
