Technical Writer-Flight Operations

Description
Beond is looking for a Technical Writer specialized in Flight Operations to join our team. As a Technical Writer - Flight Operations, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our flight operations department. In this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and organize information, and then translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our flight operations procedures and manuals are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Work closely with Flight Operations and Crew Training to collaborate on revisions of their respective manuals.
+ Organize materials according to set style and format standards, making necessary edits or changes to materials received from manual owners.
+ Prepare drafts for review and approval, and create final revised versions for submission to Safety, Security and Compliance (Quality) and MCAA as needed.
+ Create timely amendments to the manuals.
+ Monitor the current revisions of the manuals in the Manufacturer’s Website (Airbus World).
+ Ensure that the EFB Ops Library is regularly updated.
+ Prepare and distribute electronic copies of manuals and publications.
+ Create user-friendly and effective operation documentation to meet the highest quality standards.
+ Distribute authority-approved manuals to all authorized holders and maintain a record of the distribution.
+ Record and upload publications in the Company Intranet Portal and other applicable mediums.
+ Ensure that all important records related to Operation manuals are organized throughout each manual/record's life cycle in the Technical Publications shared folder.
+ Maintain the safety and security of the records throughout their life cycle and dispose of superseded confidential manual information, such as superseded CDs and hard copies, when necessary.
+ Maintain a good working knowledge of relevant editing and formatting software.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the aviation industry, preferably in flight operations Strong understanding of aviation regulations, policies, and procedures Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation Attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines Proficiency in using technical writing tools and software Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts Knowledge of graphics and formatting tools is a plus Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Frame Maker and XML editors Advanced knowledge of Aircraft Manufacturer Documentation tools Formal training in Airbus FODM/ADOC and/or Boeing rebuilder tool and aircraft specific type courses is desirable Strong writing and research skills Sound Knowledge in EFB administration and airbus operations philosophy
Benefits
Salary between AED 20,000 to AED 26,000 per month UAE residence Visa and Insurance provided by the company 1 annual return economy ticket from home country.
