Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Expert with experience in financial services to ensure the reliability, security, and accuracy of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, API testing, and data quality assurance, ensuring compliance with financial industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing, ensuring functionality, performance, and security compliance.
- Conduct thorough API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger to validate integrations and data flows.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ensure data integrity and quality assurance, validating financial transactions and reports through SQL queries.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Appium for regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring best practices in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Expertise in API testing with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in automation testing for web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills for validating data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Understanding of financial industry standards and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with security testing and regulatory compliance in financial applications.
