Job Description
We are looking for a Broadcast Engineer to join PikoTV A.S. and support our broadcasting systems. The role involves:
- Providing Linux server support for broadcasting platforms.
- Managing and optimizing network infrastructures.
- Performing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of video streaming systems.
- Ensuring system security and handling access management processes.
Job Requirements
General Qualifications:
- Proficient in Linux operating systems (mainly Ubuntu).
- Strong knowledge at the Linux system administrator level.
- Ability to use the shell command line effectively.
- Good understanding of network structures.
- Familiarity with services such as NTP, SFTP, NFS, and Samba.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with FFmpeg.
- Experience with LDAP systems.
- Previous work with broadcasting/streaming systems.
