Job Description
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.
- Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management.
- Provide training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies.
- Collect customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Grow and expand company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
- Research and monitor activity of company competitors.
- Plan and implement budgeted campaigns and run them in alignment with set budgets.
- Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
Job Requirements
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
- Previous experience in setting social media strategy is a must.
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
- Proven working experience in social media.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of social media KPIs.
- Demonstrable Social Media experience, of which at least 3 years with hands-on experience as a Social Media Manager and monitoring multiple Social Media platforms, and performing various analysis activities.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Team player and an all-round people person. Display accountable behaviors and values – things happen because of you.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
