Job Description

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.
  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management.
  • Provide training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies.
  • Collect customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Grow and expand company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Research and monitor activity of company competitors.
  • Plan and implement budgeted campaigns and run them in alignment with set budgets.
  • Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
  • Previous experience in setting social media strategy is a must.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven working experience in social media.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Demonstrable Social Media experience, of which at least 3 years with hands-on experience as a Social Media Manager and monitoring multiple Social Media platforms, and performing various analysis activities.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Team player and an all-round people person. Display accountable behaviors and values – things happen because of you.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
