Job Description

Job Brief

Responsible for the development and implementation of the global sales strategy and leading sales. Responsibilities include designing and building our domestic and international sales organization/distributor network and managing it according to best practices. In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, experience in advising and contributing to senior-level discussions and experience to lead the sales and marketing team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Take ownership of and lead the development of sales& marketing strategy
  • Participate in the selection of target markets and segments and plan the appropriate go-to-market methods.
  • To drive business growth and market share.
  • Build and develop sales and marketing team and distributor network
  • Develop sales targets and metrics and develop the measurement process
  • Lead the process of tactical sales and marketing planning
  • Determining the sales team size and structure and the incentive/compensation system that is in place as well as working with HR to select, recruit and train the commercial sector staff.
  • Responsible for the improvement of the sales, marketing, and business development concept.
  • Takes ownership of the customer and the customer interface with the product or service offering.
  • Makes sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.

Job Requirements

Education & Credentials: 

  • Business background
  • Relevant High Degree or qualification in Business and/or Sales& Marketing

Preferred: 

  • Background from or exposure to the training sector or corporate training would be an advantage

Experience: 

  • Several years of operating at senior leadership Level
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Strong experience in running sales organization
  • Experience of operating in domestic& several international markets

Preferred: 

  • Experience and insight of web-based marketing and its role in the marketing-sales continuum.

Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of sales, marketing, Business Development, Strategic Management, E-commerce industries economics tools

Preferred: 

  • Expert knowledge of the services and products the company has to offer and how they are used by clients and customers.
