Job Description
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and service levels.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring operations stay within financial targets while meeting service requirements.
- Supervise inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Monitor stock levels and inventory at all locations.
- Control transportation costs and work to reduce overall logistics expenses by maximizing vehicle and workforce efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance and renewal of company vehicles, identifying the root causes of issues, whether technical or due to misuse.
- Conduct regular training for warehouse and fleet staff.
- Provide effective solutions to operational challenges that arise.
- Keep an active and efficient communication channel with all stakeholders and keep regular visits for all locations.
Job Requirements
- BSc in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG (Proven working. experience as a Logistics Manager).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
