Job Description
- The primary focus of this position is System administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the virtualized servers, Storage as well as Microsoft windows environment.
- This includes supporting services such as Active Directory, Office 365.
- Additionally, performs a wide variety of installations, configuration and upgrading of servers and related hardware and software.
- Implementation and maintenance of high-availability server farms based on Vmware virtualization.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Windows environment including Active Directory related services, DNS, DHCP, WSUS , NTP and File Services, Group Policy management supporting business-critical systems, Server configuration/ hardening /upgrades.
- User and group management, Access restrictions, Security , Shared folder and permissions
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain mailing and communication systems based on Office365
- Responsible for servers, storage, security and monitoring hardware, software and services ensuring they are optimized for availability, stability, integrity, performance and scalability.
- Responsible for maintain backups system for various data types. System recovery during disasters - Backup/restore server backups with Veeam backups.
- Implement and maintain Server/Client Antivirus systems.
- Well versed in Public Cloud Methodologies for Google / Amazon AWS.
- Good Knowledge and implementation of Sharepoint 365 and Service Desk management.
- Evaluate and harden systems security applying OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / Add new services as required
- Work with Vendors Microsoft, Vmware , Veeam etc to optimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of servers and storage.
- Supports systems testing, analyzing logs and optimizing system performance to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvements of systems engineering related processes and procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a similar field
- 10 – 12 years in Systems field
- Preferred Industry Internet/e-commerce
- Good knowledge & implementation of Sharepoint 365 & Service Desk Management
