Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the school’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Oversee data backup and system security operations (user authorization, firewalls)
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to support educational and administrative objectives.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to assess technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Oversee the implementation and support of the electronic student tracking system and other digital platforms.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Job Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT operations or related fields.
- Proven track record in managing IT infrastructure within an educational or similar environment.
- Expertise in network administration, systems management, and cyber-security best practices.
