Job Description
- Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the D365 environment
- Strong understanding of when to use of native features and when it is appropriate to use custom development
- Support and execution of data migrations from external data sources into D365 using our middleware solution (Informatic) or other data migration technologies (like Microsoft Data Import/Export Framework)
- Ability to document both functional and technical design solutions and successfully communicate this information to IT management and user community
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team to ensure accurate delivery of stated business requirements
- Must be able to communicate complex topics concerning solution design to audiences both with and without deep technical skills
- Ensure the development of high-quality code that matches the architectural vision, security, design and business requirements for the project our Dynamics 365 platform
- Ensures code, configuration and other technology artifacts are delivered within agreed time schedules and any potential delays are escalated in advance
- Helps determine who and when to distribute the workload across developers ensuring optimal utilization of resources
- Ensures all code/configuration passes internal QA, Integration, UAT and other tests before being deployed for production
- Ensures well documented code and design practices leveraging standard frameworks and recommended modeling tools are in place
- Ensures that 100% of code is well maintained in source code repository
- Ability to support integrations to Microsoft Dynamics 365
Job Requirements
- IS related degree and/or applicable Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification
- 3-5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics product deployment and development experience
- Experience implementing and customizing Dynamics 365 apps along with building reports and dashboards
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Common Data Model and Common Data Services
- Experience in Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing Automation and Portal solutions
- Experience in Power Apps, Microsoft Flow/Power Automate and Dynamics Workflow
- Ability to integrate into Dynamics 365 using AIF and/or other services
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Architecture (layers, models, tiers, etc.)
- Ability to create functional and technical specifications and documentation for the project including specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations
- Experience with SDK and 3rd party tools for administration of the system
- Capable of building and configuring Power BI forms, dashboards and workflows
- Understanding of D365 API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints
- Experience with JScript, C# and SQL Server
- Thoughtful practitioner of software engineering methodologies, frameworks and tools including leading Agile/Scrum (or similar) methodologies
- Experience with object-oriented design, modelling and programming
- Experience with enterprise application integration and frameworks
