Job Description

  • Prepares the yearly Sales plan and submits to the CEO for approval. Communicates and cascades it down to the overseen and participates in converting it into monthly measurable targets for their second liners.
  • Prepares the Sales policies & procedures manual and submits to the CEO to review and approve. Monitors their ongoing implementation. Incorporates all changes upon their occurrence, and ensures clear communication of those changes to his direct report.
  • Sets the standards and performance measures of the Sales operations in line with the department’s strategic objectives, and monitors their timely implementation, and ensures their achievement.
  • Identifies new sales leads, and expands coverage for the assigned product(s) and communicates arising cross-sales opportunities to the concerned Sales team.
  • Conducts sales calls to Key Customers, and provides them with creative solutions to finance their purchase, to build strong and credible relationship to ensure customer retention and optimum customer satisfaction from the sales experience.
  • Distributing areas to sales representatives.
  • Monitoring the needs of existing customers.
  • Consolidates and analyzes his teams' monthly sales achievements and prepares monthly sales reports highlighting actual versus forecast , providing recommendations for improved performance.
  • Provides input to the CEO regarding market status and changing customer needs, for the preparation of the yearly sales plan and communicates any updates on regular and timely basis.

  • Produce periodically sales report.

People Management:

  • Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time.  Reviews and approves the performance appraisals conducted by his first liners to their subordinates, ensuring a timely, efficient and objective Performance Management process.
  • Monitors the implementation of the on-the-job training to ensure an on-going skills development process to increase team competence.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. from any discipline, Bachelor's degree in Engineering is Preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a sales field (Lighting Industry), with at least 5 years in a relevant managerial position.
  • Having solid commercial experience and business development skills.
  • Strong network with the Lighting Industry sector is a must.
  • Having a very good technical background.
  • Ability to make a sales plan, sales budget, sales forecast and achieve targets.
  • Ability to make a marketing plan.
  • Previous experience, with the local market.
  • Very Good in English Spoken and written.
  • Ability to travel within Egypt.
  • Strong computer skills, such as MS Office and Sales software.
  • Team player and having leader characteristics
