Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure alignment with system records.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or losses in inventory and initiate corrective actions.
- Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock rotation.
- Prepare and submit detailed inventory reports to management on a scheduled basis.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse or storage areas.
- Support the implementation of inventory management software and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all inventory-related activities.
- Train and guide junior staff or new team members on inventory procedures and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
- Willingness to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt.
