Job Description
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for software applications.
- Identify and document software defects and report them to the development team.
- Participate in the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Ensure software is tested on multiple platforms and browsers.
- Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Mentor and train junior testers on testing methodologies and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results.
- Stress testing APIs occasionally.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks and test management tools (e.g. Selenium, TestNG, JIRA).
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing processes.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
