Job Description

Duty 1: Proposal Building

  • Receive and study the potential projects from the sales along with the Financial Control Officer
  • Participate in the proposal building committee approving all cost types in the project as below:
  • Purchases in coordination with the Technical Office
  • Man - hours in coordination with the Projects
  • Subcontractors costs in coordination with the Technical Office
  • Logistics costs in coordination with the Admin Manager

Duty 2: Project Initiation

  • Manage the cost planning and estimation of the project
  • Oversee the coordination with the finance to manage the cash flow for the projects

Duty 3: Project Execution 

  • Manage the projects’ cost recording different cost drivers
  • Oversee the Coordinate with the finance to projects the recorded cost within the different cost centers to affect the cash flow and book keeping regarding different finance departments
  • Audit invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures and communicate to the cost control officer

Duty 4: Project Documentation and Closure

  • Oversee and follow up the project cost documentation
  • Audit the cost recoding and cashflow management regarding different sections within the finance department

Duty 5: Program Cost Management 

  • Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs
  • Understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability
  • Analyze the profitability of all projects in an integrated manner
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers

Duty 6: Admin Costs Management 

  • Oversee department heads budget management to ensure maximum profitability
  • Manage the collaboration with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste
  • Roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals

Job Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • BSc degree in Finance 
  • CCP certification  

Experience

  • 7 to 9 years’ experience in the field

Knowledge

  • Business Trends
  • Industry Trends (HVAC contracting, Firefighting, Plumbing, etc.)
  • Cost Management Measures 

Language Skills

  • Fluent in English

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite Advanced User 
  • Operations Software user
