Job Description

CTE Travel is seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead and grow our operations, driving the company’s strategic vision while ensuring operational excellence and market expansion. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, managing cross-functional teams, developing B2B and B2C revenue streams, and presenting measurable results to the company owners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with CTE Travel's vision and objectives for growth and sustainability.
  • Identify and explore new revenue opportunities in both B2B and B2C sectors, leveraging innovative technologies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Provide regular updates to the owners on the company’s performance, key achievements, market trends, and strategic recommendations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee and ensure the activation and efficient functioning of all departments, including Sales, Reservations, Fleet, IT, HR, and Marketing.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and hold teams accountable for achieving set targets.
  • Optimize processes across the company to increase efficiency, reduce redundancy, and enhance service delivery.

ERP System Implementation:

  • Lead the training and onboarding of staff to maximize the use of the ERP system.
  • Ensure seamless integration of technology into daily operations for better workflow and data-driven decision-making.

Talent Acquisition and Development:

  • Spearhead the recruitment of high-caliber talent for key roles, ensuring that all departments are adequately staffed.
  • Create a culture of learning and development by organizing training programs and promoting professional growth.

Business Development:

B2B Partnerships:

  • Actively pursue and secure partnerships with corporations, vendors, and agencies to expand the business portfolio.
  • Present and negotiate deals that bring in recurring revenue streams and elevate the company’s market position.

B2C Growth:

  • Oversee strategies to enhance customer acquisition and retention, ensuring steady growth in the B2C sector.
  • Lead marketing campaigns and promotions that emphasize CTE Travel's unique offerings, including ease, flexibility, and personalized travel solutions.

Financial Accountability:

  • Drive efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets while managing operational expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Regularly analyze market trends and pivot strategies to stay competitive and innovative.

Customer and Market Focus:

  • Champion exceptional customer experiences by ensuring service quality and incorporating customer feedback into the company’s offerings.
  • Conduct regular market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, adjusting company strategies as needed.

Key Deliverables for the Owners:

  1. Strategic Plan:
    • Develop a roadmap for short-term and long-term growth, including clearly defined KPIs.
  2. Operational Activation:
    • Ensure all departments are fully staffed, operational, and trained to deliver results.
  3. Revenue Growth:
    • Achieve measurable results in securing B2B partnerships and growing B2C revenue streams.
  4. Efficiency and Innovation:
    • Streamline operations through the ERP system and innovative business practices.
  5. Regular Reports:
    • Provide comprehensive quarterly updates on financial performance, operational efficiency, and market insights.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in managing and scaling businesses, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on driving results.
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and creating revenue-generating partnerships.
  • Proficiency in technology-driven operations, including ERP systems and digital tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
