Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements and translate them into effective automated test cases.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation and reproducible steps.
- Continuously enhance and optimize the automation framework to improve test coverage, efficiency, and scalability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Identify, isolate, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, quality, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and tools in test automation and quality assurance.
- Support manual testing efforts when necessary to ensure thorough coverage of critical features.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing within a software development environment.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and (STLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
