Restaurant Technology Sales Development & Key Accounts Manager (Team Lead)

Job Purpose

The Restaurant Technology Sales Development & Key Accounts Manager is responsible for leading sales and business development activities for technology solutions serving the restaurant and food service sector. The role focuses on building a specialized sales team, generating new leads, managing key accounts, and expanding client relationships through technology products such as POS systems, ERP, delivery integrations, inventory, and customer engagement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting restaurants, cafes, cloud kitchens, and food chains.
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Generate new leads through direct sales, partnerships, referrals, and market outreach.
  • Manage key accounts and act as a trusted technology advisor to restaurant owners and operators.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across POS, ERP, inventory, delivery, and analytics solutions.
  • Build, lead, and coach a dedicated sales team focused on restaurant technology solutions.
  • Coordinate presales activities with technical, implementation, and support teams.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for management.
  • Lead negotiations and close mid to large-size B2B technology deals.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong B2B solution selling and consultative sales skills.
  • Experience selling technology solutions to restaurants or retail/food service sectors.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations (POS, kitchen workflows, inventory, delivery platforms).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • CRM management experience (ERP or CRM systems preferred).
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and customer performance metrics.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of total sales experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technology, SaaS, POS, ERP, or restaurant-focused solutions.
  • Proven experience in business development and key account management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with restaurant technology platforms or SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.

  • Number of qualified leads generated.
  • Lead-to-deal conversion rate.
  • Monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Average deal size.
  • Client retention and account growth.

Reports to: Managing Director / Business Director
