Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of construction chemicals by identifying and securing project sales. The role involves working closely with contractors, sub-contractors, and engineering consultants to promote our product portfolio and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new/ refurbishment project opportunities in the construction sector (residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers, including main subcontractors, consultants, and their team, including central/ on-site procurement, purchasing, technical office, and financial teams.
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations to potential customers & Projects.
- Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project pipelines.
- Report potential projects, their needs, and status to the sales manager regularly.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve any customers' concerns.
- Support customers through their purchase journey to ensure they receive the best solution for their needs and follow up with them to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with the sales manager to develop the sales, propose and request tools to support sales growth.
- Follow up with the customer and logistics team to ensure material delivery to the customer on time and that all related documentation is issued, approved, and completed, including P.O, sales orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 0-3 years, preferably in construction chemicals, building materials, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts (is a plus)
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and client meetings
- Having an existing network in the construction industry (contractors, consultants, etc.) is a plus
- Having a strong technical knowledge of construction chemicals and their applications is a plus
