Job Description
- Receives customers’ and shipment documents for review and tracking purposes.
- Communicates with Customs Clearance Agents to trace shipment procedures until disbursement to the customers.
- Completes all needed data to deliver them to the customs clearance division.
- Enters data on the "OTM" system to help track and trace shipments.
- Follows up with the shipping lines to ensure that procedures are completed efficiently.
- Coordinates with the Financial Department to secure the financial liquidity needed for the disbursement of the shipment before the discharge date.
- Follows up on the customs clearance procedures and communicates with customers regarding any disposition (i.e. tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations).
- Reviews and issues invoices on the electronic system, to ensure the invoice terms submitted by the clearance agents, as well as, quotations submitted by EGYTRANS are in compliance.
- Delivers invoices to the Financial Department to close the operation on the "OTM" system.
- Develops regular reports for each customer to clarify their shipments status.
- Develops regular reports to the branch manager on the status of customers and shipments.
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in the Air Freight field is a MUST.
- Bachelor Degree holder, preferably in Logistics.
- Profound verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good command of English Language.
- Very good Computer skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Customers oriented and Initiative.
