Job Description
- Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
- Assist customers with product selection.
- Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
- Prepare merchandise for purchase.
- Answer customer questions about goods or services.
- Advise customers on the use of products or services.
- Help customers try on or fit merchandise.
- Convincing others to buy merchandise/goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions.
- Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
- Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns.
- Place special orders or call other stores to find desired items.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Making quotations and suggestions for clients is a must
- Follow-up on customer quotations and the extent of their implementation by the customer.
- Preparing a monthly report on the number of Quotations for each client.
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficient in verbal and written English language
- Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
- Telephone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders

- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
- Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally.
