Job Description
We are an Egyptian software house specializing in web apps, mobile apps, and big data analytics.
We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment to join our team as an Odoo Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Odoo modules as per the requirements.
- Design, development, and testing of Odoo (Open ERP) modules, projects, products, and interfaces.
- Manage the code repositories using Git.
- Integrate Odoo with 3rd Party systems.
- Worked on Open ERP/Odoo version 11 or above.
- Ability to create and migrate Odoo modules, reports using Qweb, etc.Excellent debugging skills in Odoo.
- Data migration and implementation of Odoo.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Python code.
- Configure various modules of Odoo based on business process flows and management directions.
- Lead the effort to upgrade Odoo annually to the latest released version.
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Our best candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Five (5+) years of experience writing Python in a professional setting.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in programming to SQL databases (experience in MS SQL server is required).
- Experience in implementing Web API.
- Strong working knowledge of implementing RESTful services and working with internet protocols such as JSON, c, SOAP, and HTML.
- Experience in Git source control.
- Experience in Agile Development.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact and communicate successfully with business partners and development teams.
- Strong analytical and estimation skills with the ability to quickly debug system problems and provide short & to long-term solutions.
