Job Description

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management. You will be partnering with a range of clients across the pan India region in their journey towards digital transformation and provide innovative solutions on projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively originating leads, designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence
  • Generate, Develop and Expand business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Develop and propose the business cases for digital transformation opportunities
  • Ability to articulate and present technical concepts to senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Spot opportunities where we can act as consultants to our clients to help them find digital solutions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) as well as present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Job Requirements

Hands on knowledge and experience in overseeing a major Digital Transformation Consultancy business or handling large enterprise leading digital initiatives is an added advantage.

Qualification :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
  • Proven work experience of 8 to 10 years as a sales manager in the IT and digital industry, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience in creating digital roadmaps and strategies for multiple clients at local and global scale
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with clients in a consultative way; helping them translate their business objectives into digital strategies
  • Extensive experience in working with multi-skilled teams on projects that touch a range of technical platforms
  • Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, software builds and change delivery
  • Consulting services experience or experience of selling in a consultative environment
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closur
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Hands on experience in B2B sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Proficient in CRM software, MS Office (esp. PowerPoint), Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Google Slides
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
  • Good listening skills, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience in structuring and developing compelling proposals
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
